Our client, the Luxembourg-based investment management entity of a globally known luxury car brand, is looking for a

(Junior) Accountant with fluency in English.

The accountant will support operational bookkeeping activities and assist in controlling the investments.

Job Responsibilities and Activities

  • Execute day-to-day bookkeeping activities
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Assist and support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other related reports
  • Support the exchange of information with auditors and other interface partners regarding accounting and valuation principles
  • Support internal control processes
  • Assist the tax consulting team in the preparation of VAT and tax returns
  • Assist in other accounting and finance-related projects

Requirements and Skills

  • At least 1–3 years of experience in an entry-level accounting or finance role
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices (including IFRS and LUX GAAP)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
  • BSc / BA in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field
  • Fluent in English
