Officer - equity portfolio services M / F

Our client is a famous european institution located in Kirchberg (Luxembourg). They are looking for a Officer - Equity Portfolio Services for an assignment of 2 months with possibility of extension until 1 year. The officer reports to and works under the supervision of the Head of the Equity Portfolio Services Unit within the Equity Services Division and receives guidance from senior members of the Unit as required. Responsibilities : The officer is involved in the following tasks : Collect, validate and execute the collection of NAV and portfolio data from quarterly reports received from our client counterparts for equity business line ; Be an expert in term of data processing in relation to the organisation's business lines ; Support audit process for our client and manage programs by providing requested documentation and explanation of underlying data received from our client counterparties ; Ensure a robust control environment is maintained and that all operational and compliance risks are actively managed and mitigated ; Contribute as required to process enhancements and operational activities in relation data processing activities of the Units. Support the team members for any internal projects assigned to the Unit ; Qualifications : University degree, preferably at postgraduate level, in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related subjects; At least three (3) years of relevant professional experience in a position with similar responsibilities; Relevant professional experience in Banking / Asset Management, Reporting, Quantitative Analysis, Audit, Fund Administration, Finance or related area, preferably with exposure to Private Equity assets would be considered an advantage; Additional professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, ACCA) would be considered an asset; Excellent knowledge of English, both oral and written. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.
