Our client is an International financial institution looking for a DBA Oracle to join their team. Your responsibilities Developing and maintain procedures and documentation for databases. Identifying, evaluating and managing the adoption of appropriate database administration tools and processes, including automation Contributing to the setting of standards for definition, security and integrity of database objects and ensures conformance to these standards Managing database configuration including installing and upgrading software and maintaining relevant documentation. Monitoring database activity and resource usage. Optimizing database performance and plans for forecast resource needs Your qualifications Provide a day-to-day on-site support for the client's internal application teams Administering 300 Oracle 11g, 12C, 19C instances on Linux RedHat servers with VMware Virtualization, 97 MySQL 5.6 and 5.7 databases on 74 Linux RedHat servers with VMware Virtualization Supporting application releases, changes implementation, refreshes automation in Shell, troubleshooting, performance tuning Participating in on-call for Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL and Sybase technologies. Experience with Oracle DataGuard and ASM
