About the Role :

Join the Intelligent and Clean Energy Systems (ICES) research unit as an Expert, where you will focus on developing and optimising innovative use cases and digital business models for advanced energy systems. You will be part of a team focused on creating innovative, market-driven solutions for energy generation, distribution, and consumption.

Your main responsibilities include :

• Leading market-focused R&D projects to create profitable digital business models for distributed energy ventures.
• Enhancing the ICES cloud-based intelligent digital energy platform with advanced business tools and solutions.
• Designing computational models for use cases and business strategies.
• Establishing effective teamwork and collaboration procedures on the ICES platform.
• Improving the platform’s efficiency, sustainability, and profitability.
• Analyzing current energy market trends and adhering to EU regulations for distributed energy.
• Initiating regulatory sandboxes and pilot activities for new projects.
• Building relationships with stakeholders and promoting collaborative market-oriented projects.
• Maintaining high operational standards and ensuring data privacy and security compliance (, GDPR).
• Securing research grants and funding, publishing research findings, and contributing to software licensing and technical documentation.
• Participating in the development of technological solutions (proof-of-concepts, prototypes) and drafting scientific articles, patents, and technical reports.
• Disseminating, valorising, and transferring RDI results through spin-off creation (in which you can get involved!), software licensing and technological implementations.
• Collaborating with various departments to optimize the use of the ICES platform and ensuring high-quality operational procedures.
