Senior Fund & SPV Accountant

As a Senior Fund & SPV Accountant your responsibilities are:

• Manage a portfolio of Luxembourg SPVs (securitisation, debt structures, active trading entities)
• Act as the main point of contact for your entities (Board, auditors, service providers, internal teams)
• Review and control work performed by external administrators and ensure data accuracy
• Prepare and analyse quarterly reporting, cash monitoring, and internal reporting packs
• Produce/review Lux GAAP financial statements when required
• Coordinate with legal, tax and investment teams to ensure proper governance and compliance
• Oversee complex flows (funding, distributions, leverage structures, co-investments)
• Contribute to process improvements and potential internalisation/automation initiatives
• Support corporate aspects (board processes, entity lifecycle, documentation)

A successful Senior Fund & SPV Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• About 5 years of experience in SPVs / funds / asset management environment in Luxembourg?
• Strong expertise in Lux GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Background in fund administration, SPV accounting or in-house asset manager.
• Proficiency in tax compliance, including VAT and corporate tax.
• Attention to detail, hands-on, and control-focused role.
• Proactive mindset with ability to challenge providers and improve processes.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with accounting/tools (e.g. Geneva, Sage) is beneficial
