German Payroll Officer

Description

1. Process end-to-end payroll in compliance with Luxembourg tax and social security regulations.
2. Manage benefits, leave, and tax adjustments accurately and reliably.
3. Use Apsal and Payroll Engine to handle payroll data efficiently.
4. Oversee a portfolio of small and medium-sized clients, providing day-to-day payroll support.
5. Ensure timely monthly payroll processing and assist with complex or strategic cases.
6. Maintain accurate client records and manage administrative tasks (affiliations, medical visits, meal vouchers).
7. Coordinate with tax and social authorities during audits or inspections.
8. Prepare, review, and validate monthly and financial payroll reports.
9. Deliver a high-quality client experience through responsiveness, accuracy, and professionalism.

Your profile

1. Significant experience in a similar payroll or advisory role, ideally in a multicultural environment.
2. Strong knowledge of Luxembourg social and tax legislation, applied accurately in daily payroll tasks.
3. Fluent in German and French, with Luxembourgish as an additional asset.
4. Proficient in payroll and office tools, including Office365, Salesforce, and Power BI, for efficient data management and accurate reporting.
5. Curious, detail-oriented, and numerically skilled, with the ability to work independently and demonstrate resilience.
6. Committed to excellence and client service, thriving in a collaborative environment with flexibility and team spirit.
7. Demonstrates discretion, empathy, and a solution-oriented mindset in client interactions and internal collaboration.

1. Monthly salary indication: € 5001 - € 5500
