Role Summary / Purpose : The location of this position is in Foetz, Luxembourg. 40 Hours Per Week Starting time between 07 : 30 and 09 : 00 (Depending on requirements) This newly created position will develop to support the existing Stores Manager and further support the wider logistical functions across the company. Activities will include incoming goods procedures, ensuring the sound integrity of stock levels, performing stock movements utilizing the company enterprise resource planning software (ERP) and packaging of products for final dispatch. Additionally, the position will involve many aspects of international shipping along with warehousing duties and housekeeping. After initial training the role may be further extended to include elements of purchasing and repair maintenance management, depending on applicant and internal requirements. Essential Responsibilities : Tasks will include (but are not limited to) the following : Goods receiving, counting in and checking for damaged or missing items. Processing goods received notes between stores and accounting. Booking stock into and out of store using ERP software. Maintaining the database to ensure stock integrity. Working with the Sales Coordinator and Inventory Planner to securely and accurately pick, pack and label goods for dispatch. Undertake periodic stock checks as directed by your line manager and support annual stocktaking and audit action. Organizing international shipping with differing courier services. To ensure safe and timely delivery to customers and suppliers. Work with the Corporate Planner and the Stores Manager to implemented effective and robust inventory processes and procedures to ensure a high level of stock / inventory integrity and accuracy. Keep the stores area neat, clean and safe. Lifting and moving heavy stock items both manually (in accordance with health and safety regulations) and with manual handling aids where required. Plan inbound and outbound logistics; ensure the timely shipping liaising with the transportation company. Optimize flows to minimize costs. Essential or Desirable Skills and Experience Fluency in English is essential, German, and French are an asset. Previously working within a store or warehouse will also be advantageous. Computer literacy on all main Microsoft Office applications is essential. Experience of sales order processing, order fulfilment and shipping in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is an advantage. Experience using ERP solutions or similar database / inventory systems is an advantage. Minor purchasing experience would be an advantage. Physically capable of lifting heavy items and moving boxes of stock around by hand. Past military or police service is preferred. Excellent communication skills. ...
