For our department Finance within General Services , we are looking for a (an) :
Finance Optimization Manager (m / f / x)
Main duties : Main Duties
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve financial policies, procedures, and processes to implement best practices throughout the financial operations lifecycle
- Map, assess, and support in design key finance processes (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash)
- Design and ensure implementation of Finance internal control frameworks, in line with regulatory compliance and IT risk management, and in collaboration where relevant with Risk Manager, Internal Audit and IT
- Evaluate control gaps and work with Finance process owners to remediate deficiencies
- Assess and propose automation opportunities to improve accuracy and reduce manual workload
- Monitor the execution of financial controls and ensure alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Be responsible for the organization and management of Finance Business Analysts to ensure efficient completion of Finance projects and daily operations in alignment with IT
- Prepare audit documentation and follow up on audit findings and recommendations
- Establish performance metrics (KPIs) and reporting dashboards for continuous monitoring and improvement of efficient and effective finance operations and ensure the preparation, accuracy, and accessibility of finance-related reports, procedures, and documentation
- Support General Accounting, Revenue Accounting and Treasury, Credit Control, and Customer
- Accounting departments.in implementing and maintaining robust controls for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Perform and / or assist on various administrative tasks as needed by the Finance and Controlling departments
Required profile :
Minimum required criteria
Hold a higher education diploma in finance Master degree (+5) or a Bachelor's degree (+3) with equivalent experience in Finance, including Accounting, Treasury, and ControllingAt least 8 years of experienceExperience in project management and organizational changeExperience in the field of financial and non-financial reportingAnalytical skills, attention to detail, and a sharp business senseProficiency with Office tools and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)Proven ability to handle new ideas and creative solutionsAbility to work independently and have good team management and communication skillsFluency in English and knowledge of French, Luxembourgish, German, and any other language will be considered an assetDesired or to be acquired criteria
Mastery of the specific programs of the departmentKnowledge of current tax laws and regulations in LuxembourgGood knowledge of LuxGAAP, IFRS, and applicable tax rules in Luxembourg
