Description
This role involves supporting the tax team in compliance and general administrative tax guidance, specifically related to corporate income tax, for a portfolio of Luxembourg-based clients.
Key Responsibilities :
Clients & Business Development :
- Assist in identifying and proposing new tax service opportunities.
- Collaborate within multi-service and / or multi-jurisdictional client teams to ensure effective information sharing and relationship management.
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction across the tax service portfolio.
People Management :
Provide coaching, training, and support to the tax team.Coordinate day-to-day compliance tax services, ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients.Operations :
Act as the primary contact for Luxembourg tax authorities.Coordinate with clients’ third-party advisors.Review Luxembourg corporate tax returns, tax provision calculations, and tax assessments.Maintain comprehensive records of client tax affairs, services provided, and related filings.Ensure adherence to internal control frameworks and processes.Financial Management :
Assist in the development and execution of the services budget.Support in pricing strategies for new tax service opportunities.Governance & Collaboration :
Contribute to tax service projects at both group and jurisdictional levels.Work closely with tax teams in other jurisdictions to ensure a cohesive approach.Requirements
At least 8 years of previous experience preparing and reviewing Income tax returns for LuxembourgA big 4 accounting firm experience is desirableA relevant undergraduate degree (Accounting / Finance / Business) is preferableAdvanced Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, skillsThe ability to work collaboratively with diverse client teamsAttention to detail to ensure the delivery of consistent and high standardsExcellent organisational and people skillsA commitment and desire to deliver high-levels of client serviceAbility to think critically and creativity work under pressure and within tight deadlinesFluency in English and French would be an asset
