Job Profile Summary

The Transfer Agency department provides a third party fund administration service to numerous fund management companies covering the full range of shareholder servicing functions including dealing, registration, settlements, distributions, commissions and statements. The team provides technical support to the operational areas, independent handling of complaints, undertake process reviews, co-ordinate audit visits, providing management information and analysis. The Technical Coordinator supports the Team Leader in ensuring operational efficiency with respect to workflow distribution and ensuring the effective the use of staff resources. Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and / or internal business impact. Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees. May manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees (but not a formal management role). TASK DESCRIPTION

  • Day to day oversight of processing quality and timeliness.
  • Ensure that all tasks are processed as per SLA.
  • Work with the team and group projects area on any allocated projects.
  • Ensure that processes and controls are amended when necessary and as instructed by the Team Leader or the Management so as to improve the output where quality at an individual level or process needs to be addressed.
  • Completion of monthly KPIs, timely and accurately.
  • Provide input to the Team Leader and contribute in weekly team meetings if required.
  • Work with internal departments to evaluate and implement changes in proposed new regulations and ensure that all current requirements are met.
  • Manage the projects related to your environment and ensure smooth implementation.
  • Provide guidance to staff, fostering an environment which encourages employee participation, teamwork and communication.
  • Production of daily / monthly / ad-hoc reporting.
  • Resolution of asset manager’s queries.
  • Assume responsibility for the efficient day to day running of the group acting as a source of technical expertise.
  • Ensure that all risks are identified and highlighted immediately to Team leader.
  • Understand the background and propose appropriate measures to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Always available for clients, team members, and others teams.
  • Excellent communication skills - Fluent in English
