What you’ll do

Shape the future of global connectivity and lead with purpose

As the Principal Wholesale Clearing & Billing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining and delivering Vodafone’s billing and clearing strategy for wholesale roaming. This is a high-impact position where your expertise will directly influence how we operate globally, ensuring our systems are not only efficient and future-ready, but also aligned with the latest innovations — including blockchain technologies.

In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things billing and settlement. You’ll lead the design and implementation of strategic solutions that support Vodafone’s evolving wholesale business, while also being the key liaison for our local markets. Whether it’s guiding them through complex billing transformations or resolving operational challenges, your leadership will ensure alignment, clarity, and progress.

You’ll also manage our relationship with the Data Clearing House, ensuring that our vendors deliver to the highest standards and that internal stakeholders are always informed and engaged. Your ability to build strong partnerships — both internally and externally — will be essential to your success.

Beyond operations, you’ll represent Vodafone in global industry forums like the GSMA. Here, your voice will help shape the future of billing standards, ensuring that Vodafone’s vision is reflected in the industry’s direction. You’ll stay ahead of emerging trends, interpret their impact, and translate them into actionable strategies for our teams.

  • Your Background & Experience

  • You hold a university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • You bring 5+ years of experience in the Telecommunications or Technology industry, ideally with a focus on billing systems management.
  • You have hands-on experience with billing systems, data clearing processes, and exposure to blockchain technologies in a commercial or operational context.
  • You’re comfortable operating in a global, matrixed environment and thrive in roles that require both strategic vision and operational execution.
