We are seeking an IT Systems & Operations Specialist, based in Luxembourg, to support our globally distributed team and help manage the systems that power our operations. This individual will play a key role in enabling a productive, stable, and well-supported remote workforce by maintaining endpoint systems, automating onboarding workflows, managing collaboration tools, and providing responsive IT support across multiple platforms and time zones.
This is a hands-on, generalist IT role ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, improving internal tooling, and contributing to a secure, seamless user experience in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Provide first-line IT support to employees across the organization, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and access-related issues.
- Manage user lifecycle operations via Rippling, including onboarding, offboarding, and changes across tools like Slack, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), JIRA, and other SaaS platforms.
- Maintain and support a diverse device fleet including Windows, macOS, and Linux laptops, ensuring consistent patching, performance, and access management.
- Coordinate remote support sessions, device provisioning, and technical troubleshooting for globally distributed team members.
- Maintain visibility into endpoint health and ensure device hygiene using SentinelOne and other administrative tools.
- Assist with integration and administration of enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms such as Slack, Teams, Zoom, and Google Workspace (as applicable).
- Manage asset inventory, license tracking, and IT documentation to support internal controls and system audits.
- Support internal process improvements for IT workflows, including scripting and light automation where applicable.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and security teams to ensure alignment with Hydrosat’s technology policies and compliance goals (e.g., NIST 800-171).
Requirements
Based in Luxembourg, with eligibility to work in the EU.2–4 years of experience in IT support, help desk operations, or systems administration in a hybrid or remote-first environment.Familiarity supporting and troubleshooting Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.Experience managing accounts and settings in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Box, Teams, and OneDrive.Strong knowledge of Slack, Zoom, and remote collaboration tool support.Ability to manage SaaS tools and handle IT onboarding / offboarding in platforms like Rippling or similar IAM tools.Proficiency in managing support tickets and workflows using tools such as JIRA or equivalent.Strong communication skills, a service mindset, and ability to work independently across time zones.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving systems and priorities.Nice to Have
Experience supporting remote-first or globally distributed teams.Familiarity with endpoint management tools (e.g., Rippling, SentinelOne).Exposure to compliance environments such as NIST 800-171, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.Familiarity with AWS service administration, including IAM, EC2, and basic networking or access troubleshooting.Experience writing internal documentation or user guides.Scripting or automation experience in PowerShell, Bash, or similar tools.Familiarity with incident response best practices, including basic procedures for identifying, documenting, and escalating security events.Benefits
