We are a general contractor and fit-out company for both tertiary and commercial spaces. With a headcount of 45 people, eight different nationalities, our bilingual team offers the opportunity to carry out turnkey projects for international companies. We are present across Europe with establishments in France, Germany, Italy the United Kingdom and Luxembourg. The ideal candidate will have a professional and proactive approach. He will need to have effective communication and experience in negotiation, both internally and externally with clients. This role would be suitable for a candidate with an organized and methodical character, happy to work independently but nevertheless part of a project team. As a financial controller, you will assist your manager in the day-to-day operational support, as such, you are the main interlocutor between accounting and operational staff; site managers. You contribute to the deployment of an ERP and the development of digitalization and the automation of accounting processes. Here's what our Financial Controller will be doing : Cash Management : Establish cash flow management (global and by site); Prepare payments for supplier invoices; Participate in the improvement of management tools. Financial Reporting : Assist in monitoring all in budget and to prepare group's reports; Manage project finance and global progression in collaboration with project stakeholders Participate in the budgeting of fixed costs; Monitoring budget on projects and entities and explaining any deviations. Tax returns : Validate the VAT returns of the entities of the group and you make the reconciliation with the accounting. What we're looking for from our Financial Controller : The skills to have : Have excellent knowledge accounting & tax – German accounting is an asset. Master office automation tools essential to your activity (Excel advanced functions, database, accounting software, etc.) ERP – knowledge in Netsuite is an asset. The candidate must demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, make things happen, and consistently follow tasks through to completion with precision and diligence Master the analysis and processing of accounting and financial information; Know how to synthesize information; Know how to demonstrate rigor and organization; Have a dynamic personality and team spirit; Be a force of proposal; Have communication skills, managerial skills and an ability to anticipate.
