About McBride :

The Foetz site in Luxembourg is a strategic center for our research and development activities.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate enzyme development and analysis projects.
  • Design and optimize experimental protocols for enzyme studies.
  • Supervise laboratory tests and ensure the quality and reliability of results.
  • Train and mentor technicians and junior researchers in enzymatic techniques.
  • Manage enzyme reagent stocks and ensure proper functioning of dedicated equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, production, quality teams, and external partners.
  • Contribute to the writing of technical reports, regulatory files, scientific publications, or patents.
  • Conduct scientific and technological monitoring in the enzymatic field.
  • Participate in scientific conferences or specialized working groups.
  • Monitor performance indicators related to enzymatic activities and propose continuous improvement actions.
  • Lead the annual action plan on enzymes in line with the laboratory's strategic objectives.
  • Manage continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing enzymatic performance and associated processes.

Profile Sought :

  • Master’s degree, Engineering degree, or PhD in biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Significant experience (3 to 5 years minimum) in enzymology or coordination of scientific projects.
  • Proficiency in enzymatic analysis techniques (kinetics, spectrophotometry, etc.).
  • Proven skills in project management, communication, and teamwork.
  • Professional English (written and spoken).
