Description de posteMaster’s degree in Purchasing, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in a purchasing role, ideally in the automotive or manufacturing industry. Strong technical understanding or background is highly valued. Good knowledge of global supplier markets and procurement practices. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Fluent in English; German and / or French is a plus.
Buyer – Automotive Industry – Permanent Role
On behalf of one of our clients, a major international player in the automotive sector, we are currently looking for a Buyer to support both strategic and operational purchasing activities within a fast-paced and innovation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage purchasing processes for a defined category or program in a regional / moderate context.
- Support the development and implementation of purchasing strategies.
- Contribute to sourcing activities : supplier selection, RFQs, negotiation, and decision-making processes.
- Conduct or support contract negotiations with low-volume suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and help implement corrective actions when necessary.
