We are currently looking for a Service Manager – SDN to lead the delivery and continuous improvement of Software Defined Networking (SDN) services in a large, complex enterprise environment. This role is key to ensuring service stability, operational excellence, and innovation in line with our client’s cloud and digital transformation strategy.

THE WORK :

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of SDN services, ensuring availability, performance, and security.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all SDN service-related matters, coordinating between clients, technical teams, and vendors.
  • Ensure full compliance with contractual SLAs, KPIs, and ITIL-based service management processes.
  • Lead incident, problem, and change management activities for SDN services.
  • Monitor service performance and proactively drive improvements to prevent disruptions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and external providers to ensure SDN services align with evolving business needs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure that providers meet contractual obligations and performance targets.
  • Produce regular reports on service quality, risks, and improvement plans for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive innovation and service evolution, supporting automation, agility, and adoption of modern SDN technologies.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and maintain up-to-date documentation within the team.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED :

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Service Management with a strong focus on enterprise networking or SDN technologies.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL principles and service lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience managing large-scale network infrastructures in critical environments.
  • Familiarity with SDN platforms such as Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, OpenStack, or equivalent solutions.
  • Understanding of cloud networking models (hybrid and multi-cloud SDN) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, both technical and non-technical.
  • Ability to manage priorities, drive decisions, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and working with external vendors.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential.
