My client, a global consultancy firm, is seeking seasoned and strategic Manager to  director- level professionals to lead client engagements, drive business development, and provide expert advisory services across restructuring, formal insolvency processes, and creditor negotiations.

In this team, you will specialise in guiding businesses through periods of transformation, distress, or financial challenge. The Liquidation & Restructuring practice is known for delivering practical, tailored solutions that protect stakeholder value while navigating complex restructuring and insolvency scenarios across a wide range of assets, including private equity, real estate, and listed securities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Actively managing entities in liquidation, with a primary focus on investment funds.
  • Lead and supervise a team responsible for the day-to-day management of liquidating entities, including tasks such as payment approvals, advances on liquidation, portfolio disposals, AML checks, cash reconciliations, and termination agreements.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end liquidation process, ensuring alignment across accounting, tax, legal, valuation, and strategic considerations.
  • Oversee the drafting and review of liquidation procedures, liquidation accounts, and the liquidator's reports.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the practice through continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities; support the development of proposals and deliver presentations to prospective clients.
  • Participate in the design and delivery of internal training programs to upskill team members.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, supporting their professional development and helping them reach their full potential.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • 6+ years (manager level) of relevant experience in a similar role within an advisory firm or financial institution.
  • Demonstrated expertise in accounting principles and the liquidation process.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise effectively.
  • Self-motivated, with a proven ability to work independently while fostering positive relationships with senior management and functioning well within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Committed to mentoring and developing junior team members, including oversight of their work.
  • Business fluency in English is required; fluency in French or German is considered an asset
