Responsibilities
Within the Legal Department of Societe Generale Luxembourg, the candidate will be attached to the Private bank department and will participate in the handling of files and questions from the Private Banking.
Given the diversity of Societe Generale Luxembourg's activities, the candidate must be able to address a variety of issues with interlocutors from different business lines and support functions. Training (and possibly experience) in banking law, Investment law, management companies regulation or a specialization in new technology law are an asset.
With good interpersonal skills and excellent organizational skills, he / she must be able to have a global approach to banking legal issues and propose appropriate solutions. Given the international environment, a good command of writing and negotiation in English is essential. Any other language proficiency is considered an asset.
Tasks and responsibilities :
A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.
Please note that for the missions outside the European countries, a VISA is necessary. Please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure. Otherwise, we strongly advise you to launch asap the renewal of your passport.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Luxemburg is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
