Job Description

Agama Advisors provides regulatory & compliance assistance, internal audit and advisory services to Asset Managers, Investment Funds and Professionals of the Financial Sector in Luxembourg

Your role

  • Endorsing ‘RC’ functions and board mandates for investment funds
  • Being in charge of internal audit assignments and developing this service
  • Advising clients on regulatory obligations (in relation to corporate governance, compliance, AML / CFT, etc.)
  • Participating in the implementation of regulatory projects
  • Assessing compliance risks and framework
  • Contributing to oversight obligations on delegates or clients service providers (initial, periodic or ad hoc due diligence)
  • Reviewing compliance reports (e.g. 'RC' report)
  • Preparing training materials (AML / CFT, market abuse, etc.) and facilitating trainings
  • Contributing to the firm's client acceptance and monitoring process
  • Responding to business tenders
  • Carrying out a regulatory watch to be shared internally and with clients
  • Participating in the structuring and daily life of the firm and the team, to make it grow

Qualifications

  • Hold academic or professional background in Asset Management, Internal Audit, Compliance, Legal, Finance or Economics
  • Possess 7 to 20+ years of relevant work experience (Internal or External Audit, Compliance, Conducting Officer or RC position) within the Luxembourg regulated financial sector
  • Understand the Asset Management and PSF sectors in Luxembourg and their regulatory environment
  • Have a strong attention to details and good organizational skills
  • Adapt quickly to new projects and environments
  • Fluent in English and French (spoken and written), German is a +
  • Demonstrate a solid proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
