We look for researchers from diverse academic backgrounds to contribute to our projects in areas such as : Network Security, Information Assurance, Model-driven Security, Cloud Computing, Cryptography, Satellite Systems, Vehicular Networks, and ICT Services & Applications.
Your role
- Contribute to administrative procedures for (new) employees, students or other internal / external staff / visitors :
Collaborate with the Head of Research Groups and Hiring Managers of SnT to initiate and monitor hiring requests
Synchronize with the Financial Controllers to ensure budget availabilityMonitor all definite period contracts and initiate contract extensions in collaboration with the Hiring ManagersSupport steps at arrival and leaving of employeesSupport closely business requests at SnT in collaboration with Central departmentCollaborate with the Head of Research Groups and Hiring Managers of SnT to understand and support their business needsProvide reporting's and ad hoc information :Document and update data in the relevant administrative systems making sure databases and dashboards are up to date
Contribute to internal reporting by preparing SnT reportsParticipate in projects initiated either internally or by the central administration of the UniversityYour profile
Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably with HR exposureStrong proficiency in ExcelExcellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyService-oriented with high team spirit, able to work autonomouslyFluency in English and French is required.
