Team Introduction

PIPO Luxembourg is a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation at the forefront of the payments industry. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations and Vendor Manager to join our dynamic and rapidly evolving FinTech organisation. As a critical member of our European team, you will play a key role in building and overseeing efficient, compliant, and scalable operations while managing vendor relationships in line with regulatory expectations. This role requires a hands-on professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is adept at managing complex operations. You will be responsible for operationalising processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the seamless delivery of in-house and outsourced services to meet business and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities - Lead and manage operations governance and ensure adherence to regulatory deliverables, including interpreting and applying rules, policies, standards, and controls. - Develop and implement robust management and operational reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights for senior leadership. - Oversee intragroup and third-party outsourcing relationships, ensuring compliance with EBA guidelines, CSSF circulars, and other relevant regulatory frameworks. - Conduct due diligence, manage SLAs, perform risk assessments, and maintain outsourcing registers in alignment with Luxembourg regulatory requirements. - Ensure the operations function meets resilience and BCP requirements, including regular business continuity planning and testing. - Lead efforts to strengthen operational resilience across systems and processes, preparing for potential disruptions effectively. - Implement and oversee a structured change management process, ensuring smooth integration of new initiatives, technologies, and operational improvements. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and executing opportunities to optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency. - Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to align operational activities with strategic business objectives. - Act as a liaison between technical teams and business executives, ensuring alignment and clarity on operational priorities.

Minimum Qualifications - Experience in operations and vendor management within the banking, payment services, or FinTech industries. - Demonstrated ability to build and scale operational frameworks in regulated environments. - Proven track record of managing outsourcing and vendor relationships, including conducting due diligence and mitigating risks. - Deep understanding of outsourcing and vendor management frameworks, operational resilience, and business continuity planning. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. - Excellent communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels and functions. - Sound knowledge of Luxembourg regulatory requirements, particularly CSSF guidelines, AML / CTF obligations, and operational resilience. Preferred Qualifications - Extensive experience managing operations in a bank, FinTech, or payment-related industry. - Familiarity with deploying and managing standard certification frameworks (., ISO 22301, ISO 27001). - Experience working with global teams and navigating diverse regulatory environments. - Strong aptitude for motivating and developing talent within a high-performing team.
