Your area of work
As a Data Collection Operations Officer at Kneip, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of fund data collection processes. Leading a team of three data specialists, you will oversee daily operations, optimize workflows, and drive continuous improvement in data acquisition and validation. Your leadership will be instrumental in supporting Kneip’s mission to deliver high-quality fund data management and reporting solutions to clients navigating complex regulatory environments.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology, and Client Services to ensure seamless data integration and alignment with client expectations. This role requires a proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and a passion for operational excellence in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Your Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationship with clients
Act as the primary point of contact for client enquiries and concerns
Provide regular updates on project status and milestones
Address client concerns and ensure their satisfaction
Process Development :
Design and implement streamlined data collection processes
Continuously evaluate and improve data collection methods and tools
Establish and enforce quality control standards for data collection
Conduct regular audits to verify data accuracy and completeness
Workload Organisation :
Allocate resources and tasks efficiently to meet client deadlines
Develop comprehensive project plans that outline milestones, tasks and dependencies
Continuously monitor progress and implement client-driven adjustments while adhering to the plan
Prioritise data collection projects based on client requirements
Monitor progress and address any issues or bottlenecks
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (eg. Data Science, Statistics, Business Management)
Knowledge of the Fund industry landscape
Proven experience in data management, with client-centric approach and strong planning skills
Expertise on functional and technical knowledge
Experience with digital tools and systems
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
English required, german and french or any other language would be considered an asset
