As an Audit Director you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing audit engagements, leading a team of professionals, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance for clients. Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, including overseeing financial audits, compliance assessments, and risk management processes.
- Supervise and mentor audit managers, senior associates, and other staff, ensuring high performance and career development.
- Review and analyze financial statements, reports, and records for accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing strategic advice and recommendations based on audit findings.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify areas of improvement for internal processes, risk management, and governance.
- Ensure compliance with local and international audit standards, as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Oversee the preparation of audit reports, presentations, and other client deliverables.
- Stay current with industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices to continuously improve service delivery.
Requirements :
Fluency in German (both written and spoken) is required.Relevant experience in audit, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and risk management.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and senior stakeholders.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.How to Apply :
