Responsibilities

Société Générale Life Insurance Broker (SGLIB) is the insurance brokerage subsidiary of Société Générale Bank & Trust. Operating from Luxembourg under the freedom to provide services, SGLIB is the platform for Luxembourg life insurance solutions for private clients of the Société Générale Private Banking network.

Responsibilities :

  • Preparation of subscription documents in collaboration with insurance engineers
  • Instruction and monitoring of insurance operations in relation with SGPB private bankers
  • Updating customer / contracts / operations tracking tools
  • Performing administrative tasks
  • Elaboration of monthly reporting (production, outflows, stocks and commissions)
  • Participation in process improvement
  • Contribution to internal projects

A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply for a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience :

  • Graduate with a Master’s degree from Business / Engineering School or University with a specialization in B anking, Insurance or Finance
  • A previous experience in Life Insurance or Banking  would be appreciated
  • Language skills :

  • Fluent in English (B2-C1)
  • Fluent in French
  • Technical, operational & Soft skills :

  • Very good command of the usual office tools and especially Excel
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Relational skills and ability to work in a team
  • Organization and attention to details
  • The VIE assignment in a nutshell

    This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months .

    In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.

    The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
