Hays - Windows System Administrator

Hays Luxembourg is looking for an experienced Windows system administrator / engineer with a strong affinity for workplace technologies. The role is focussed on delivering 3rd level support to our end customers in the context of managed services contracts and / or contribute to projects within the same area of expertise. Responsibilities Create and configure Group Policy Objects (GPO) Using Microsoft EndPoint Manager (aka Intune) and / or Microsoft EndPoint Configuration Manager (aka SCCM) to Manage devices Deploy applications Update the Windows OS (is a plus) Deploy Windows (is a plus) Create and maintain scripts based on several technologies (PowerShell, VBScript, batch files) Troubleshoot Windows application deployment related (runtime) issues In a Citrix environment (all the below is a plus) Publish applications / desktops Create and maintain golden images Create and maintain machine catalogs and delivery groups Profile In depth knowledge of the Windows client OS In depth knowledge of Windows application deployment Basic understanding of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) Basic understanding of Windows client OS security Basic understanding of networking Broad understanding of Microsoft 365 and its workloads, deeper understanding of one or more workloads is a plus Understanding of OS deployment is a plus Understanding of the Windows Server OS with Remote Desktop Services (RDS) enabled is a plus Understanding of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops is a plus Soft skills Has a can-do mindset Works both well in a team and independently Can quickly establish a network Can communicate with technical specialists and novices Can produce comprehensive documentation (in English) Languages Understands and speaks French (at least B2) to interact with customers and understands, speaks and writes English (at least B2) to interact with the broader (international) team.
