Senior accountant

Key Responsibilities : Oversee and manage assigned General Accounting tasks (GL, AP, AR) for designated entities. Handle day-to-day accounting operations and ensure smooth financial processes. Prepare and submit monthly VAT filings. Coordinate intercompany reconciliations with group entities. Conduct monthly reviews of the general ledger and trial balance. Monitor and reconcile customer and supplier account balances. Assist the Accounting Manager with month-end and year-end closing procedures. Contribute to the development of accounting policies to enhance internal controls in line with company standards. Required Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience. Strong understanding of Luxembourg GAAP . Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus. Proficiency in SAP (required) and advanced Excel skills (macros, VLOOKUP, complex PivotTables). Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Ability to work independently with high accuracy and attention to detail. Experience in cross-functional, multicultural work environments. Capable of meeting tight deadlines while maintaining a proactive attitude.
