Payroll Specialist Wanted (Maternity Cover – 9-Month Engagement)

Your Main Responsibilities
As a Payroll Specialist , you’ll be a key member of the Luxembourg payroll team. Your role will include :
Payroll Execution :
- Manage monthly payroll in close collaboration with an external payroll provider
- Review gross-to-net calculations, ensure compliance, and follow up on administrative tasks
- Handle accounting entries and monthly closings
- Maintain accurate payroll records
Vendor & Internal Communication :
Coordinate with the external payroll vendor and ensure service qualityAct as a point of contact for associate inquiries (pay slips, tax certificates, etc.)Liaise daily with the HR Shared Service CenterBenefits & Time Management :
Administer time & attendance systemsManage employee benefits and support related processesProvide guidance to stakeholders on payroll, reporting, compensation, and benefitsCompliance & Projects :
Stay updated on legal and tax regulations affecting payroll and benefitsParticipate in payroll-related projects (such as new system implementations)Act as the go-to expert for payroll, benefits, and salary taxation topicsYour Profile & What We Offer
Who we’re looking for :
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Accounting, or similarAt least 2 years of proven experience in payroll processingFluency in English and French is required – Luxembourgish or German is a strong plusYou’re organized, precise, a great communicator and comfortable with numbersProficiency in Excel and strong administrative skills are essentialA team player with high integrity and adaptabilityWhat we offer :
