Job Description

We're looking for a forward-thinking Accounting Supervisor to join our Finance team during a key moment of digital evolution. In this role, you will contribute to both day-to-day operations and broader transformation projects-including our SAP S / 4HANA implementation and other initiatives aimed at increasing automation, efficiency, and data integrity.

This is more than a traditional accounting role. You'll help shape how we operate, collaborate across departments, and partner with outsourced teams, all while playing a critical role in how finance supports KPMG's strategic goals.

What you will be working on

Operational Excellence

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Take ownership of key accounting processes, including credit card reconciliation, travel and expense validation, leasing and DKV invoices, and associated internal controls.
Ensure proper cash bookings and maintain high data quality across systems for accurate financial reporting.
Lead and supervise relationships with outsourced accounting partners, supporting our externalization strategy in line with the firm's roadmap.

Finance Transformation & SAP Integration

Act as a core stakeholder in the SAP S / 4HANA FiCO implementation and future module rollouts.

Help define and translate business needs into effective system designs and support process harmonization across the finance function.

Promote the adoption of new technologies and digital tools, including AI-driven solutions, to streamline operations.

Support audit and internal improvement initiatives, and lead the implementation of their recommendations.

Document new procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance and knowledge transfer within the team.

Strategic Collaboration & Leadership

Collaborate closely with the Accounting Director, Finance managers, CFO, Controlling, Procurement, and SAP project teams.

Serve as a trusted point of contact for cross-functional finance topics with Finance Business Partners and Operations.

Provide support, guidance, and coaching to junior accountants and outsourced teams, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

What we look for

University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional qualification ( CPA, ACCA) is a strong plus.

At least 8 years of relevant experience in accounting, with 3+ years of team or project leadership.

Experience in a professional services or international environment is preferred. We welcome profiles with a mix of accounting and advisory or client-facing experience, and an interest in contributing internally to a strategic finance role.

Strong understanding of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Proven experience in ERP implementation or transformation projects-SAP S / 4HANA is a major asset.

Familiarity with outsourcing models or externalized accounting teams.

A hands-on mindset, analytical thinking, and a passion for driving efficiency and process improvement.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit-you work well across functions and levels of seniority.
