Summary

As a Waterboss / Marine Superintendent, you are responsible for the floating auxiliary equipment on our dredging projects :

multicats, pontoons, anchors, sinkers and floating line movements. You monitor all activities on the water.

  • The planning and preparation of pipeline operations

    You organize sinker and floating line movements in cooperation with the Works Manager

    You supervise during positioning of sinker and floating lines for the vessel or barge

    You monitor the floating pipelines and report if rectification is needed

    You take pipe measurements offshore on a regular basis, indicating when pipes have to be turned

    You keep the logbook on anchor positions

    You perform and supervise operations of the winch pontoon

    You are responsible for the stock management of spares

    You manage the crew plus all related equipment, introducing and applying the necessary procedures to maintain the most precise working environment

    You ensure that crews are properly supplied with tools, equipment and materials. You prevent the misuse of equipment, materials and tools

    You ensure that all tasks are carried out in a safe, timely and cost effective manner

    You have experience with water works, multicats, anchor operations, pipelines, port traffic regulations, tugboats and pontoons

    If you are a Multicat skipper yourself, that's a plus

    You speak and write English fluently

    You can work with a computer

    You are a communicative person with good organizational skills

    Technical Equipment Supervisor

    The Technical Equipment Supervisor (TES), is the main responsible person for the technical state of the Cable Burial Tool (CBT), whether on the vessel during operations or on shore during maintenance and modifications. The TES is also the main responsible person on the vessel to execute burial in accordance with the agreed burial methodology and has a key role in the optimization of the burial process, improvement program for the trencher and the training of the operational crew.
