BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven ” individual to join as an Accounting Manager for our Luxembourg Technical Center in Hautcharage.

Key Accountabilities :

Responsible for accounting

Manage & review monthly US Gaap closing activities

Perform accounting reportings and analytical review

Prepare statutory annual accounts in LuxGaap

Liaise with auditors & lead financial statements audit

Actively participate in the SAP transition project

Demonstrate strong understanding of financial accounting systems

Report issues / key transactions to site controller and group accounting team

Drive continuous improvement in processes

Train & coach team member(s)

Education & Experience :

6-8 years of experience in accounting / audit, preferably in industry

Master Degree in Accounting / Management / Finance required

Big 4 experience is a plus

Experience in reporting to senior management is preferred

Good knowledge of LuxGaap

Basic knowledge of US Gaap

Basic knowledge on consolidation

Basic knowledge on taxation (direct and indirect)

IT appetence

SAP ERP System knowledge preferred

HFM knowledge is a plus

Proficient Microsoft Excel user

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Organized with strong communication skills

Proactive and keen for detail

Team-player and autonomous

Fluent in English and French required
