About the Role
The Directorate General for Energy ( DG ENER ) develops and implements European energy policies, with Directorates D and E focusing on nuclear energy. You will join a multicultural team in Luxembourg that safeguards nuclear materials in compliance with the EURATOM Treaty.
Your mission? ✅ Maintain and develop IT systems that ensure secure, compliant, and efficient nuclear safeguards operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior BI SAP BusinessObjects Expert , you will :
- Provide expert advice and secure design recommendations for IT systems.
- Review technical requirements and support project management (PM² methodology).
- Identify system interfaces and translate business needs into functional & non-functional requirements.
- Design, develop, and coordinate secure reporting & KPI dashboards.
- Ensure secure coding, application hardening, and compliance with data protection standards.
- Deliver user presentations and training on secure data handling.
- Document technical solutions and present updates to stakeholders.
Your Profile
Education : 5 years higher education.
Must-have Skills :
5+ years managing & designing SAP BusinessObjects universes & reports (v3.x, v4.x)Strong analytics skills to translate complex business processes into secure BI solutionsSolid SQL & PL / SQL experience with secure coding focusProven track record in complex KPI dashboard design with role-based access controlExcellent knowledge of secure system prototyping & designStrong command of PM² or similar methodologiesAbility to deliver clear presentations & user trainingFluent in English (C1 / C2); French (B2) is a plusNice to Have :
Microsoft Power BI / PowerBuilder knowledgeSAS Business Intelligence experienceKnowledge of ITILSoft Skills
