Accountant (M / F) - Private equity funds - Permanent job

Our client is a corporate service provider specialising mainly in the Fund Administration within Private Equity, Real Estate and Securitisation. To strengthen their team, we are looking for  :

Accountant (M / F)

Full-time position – Permanent Contract

As a part of our team, you will :

Own a portfolio of clients (existing and new) within (but not limited to) Private Equity and Real Estate

Manage the accounting and reporting (e.g. bookkeeping, monthly / quarterly / annual reports, reconciliations, NAV calculations and NAV reports)

Contribute to maintenance of high professional financial standards within the organization

Prepare direct and indirect tax returns

Take care of regulatory reports (CSSF, BCL)

Partner with different stakeholders (internal departments and external parties - clients, depository, auditors, tax advisors, …)

Onboard new clients

Be a part of ad hoc projects

Here’s what you can bring to the team :

Accounting degree and / or professional accounting qualification

Accounting experience of 2-5 years, preferably in Luxembourg fund industry

Knowledge of Lux GAAP and / or IFRS

Knowledge of direct and indirect taxes

Analytical and problem-solving mind, with ‘hands-on’ approach

Ability to work independently as well as being a team-player

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Good computer literacy skills and knowledge of accounting software

Proficiency in English and / or French (working knowledge of other languages is an asset)
