Currently, we're seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee operations at our central warehouse in Luxembourg. The candidate will operationally manage and supervise the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities of the warehouse, ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded. The warehouse manager must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate order fulfilment, and track shipping. He / she will also be responsible for the management of warehousing outsourced services. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and able to manage multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously and owns a 360° approach to the business.
Major Tasks
- Ensure that the warehouse operates with efficiency — with customer satisfaction the primary goal — by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals
- Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods
- Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
- Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
- Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations
Responsibilities
Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer serviceSchedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtimeInspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessaryMeet regularly with warehouse leads to analyse productivity and develop actionable plans for loss preventionOversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilitiesInventory Management : Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock, Inventory control and cycle stock count execution;Supplier Coordination : Liaise with Purchasing team&suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that arise.Transportation Management : Oversee the transportation of goods, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing routes.Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing training and development, organize individual and annual reviews, train on Warehouse&Logistic ProceduresTrack key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving any Warehouse&Logistic related issues.Required skills and qualifications
Mastre degree in Engineering, Logistics or Business AdministrationThree or more years of experience in a warehouse role managing employeesProficiency with warehouse procedures and policiesExcellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualitiesAbility to work collaboratively with all levels of company staffAbility to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbalAbility to communicate in more than one language, English and French are requiredOur Offer :
