Your contribution as a Cloud Engineer (m / f / d)

  • Design, development and operation of a cloud-based operating platform (IaaS / PaaS) for the entire ARD
  • Participation in the design, development and integration of specialist applications for media production and distribution
  • Supporting specialist teams in analyzing operational requirements and creating technical specifications
  • Design, implementation and operation of landing zones and CI / CD pipelines with infrastructure as code
  • Design, implementation and further development of processes and workflows with cloud technologies (e.g. Apache AirFlow)
  • Establishment and collaboration in DevSecOps processes

Your professional and personal profile :

Can you identify with the values of MDR and are you keen to play an active role in shaping our working environment? This is what you bring to the table :

  • University degree in computer science or related disciplines or knowledge and skills acquired through a comparable relevant professional career
  • Relevant experience in cloud technologies and automation solutions
  • good knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform), Docker and Kubernetes as well as modeling and managing automated cloud architectures
  • Fluency in German and English

    • Ideally, you also have the following qualifications and qualities

  • Certifications as a cloud engineer (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience in the implementation and use of GitOps-based working methods
  • Experience in agile methods and DevOps approaches
  • Communication skills and enthusiasm
  • Ability to compromise while at the same time being consistent in the pursuit of goals
  • Ability to organize and coordinate in complex environments
