Your area of work The Asset Servicing department is responsible for the Custody and Connectivity products of Clearstream / DBAG.

The application landscape consists mainly of Web applications and Java application servers running on top of large databases.

We are looking for a Back-end developer in Java to work in our team located in Luxembourg. Your responsibilities Participate with the Connectivity Development team in the development of our customer-facing application.

Create new and update existing Back-end solutions and interface them with the Web GUI through REST APIs. Analyze and review requirements in close collaboration with the functional analysts. Design, code, write unit tests and document the different parts of the software for which you are responsible. Build automation and related tools wherever needed Integrate new Web GUI with existing framework Support all end-to-end testing activities, including support to functional and business testers. Communicate regularly on the progress of the various developments and proactively report any problems. Your profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT Previous relevant experience in similar role, not specifically in the financial industry Good programming skills and practical experience in the following areas : Object Oriented analysis and software design techniques Java SE 8 or higher / Java EE 6 and 7 Rest Web services Linux Maven GIT / GitHub Oracle SQL Experience in one or more of the following areas will be of advantage : Public cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Gpc...) Docker / Kubernetes / OpenShift / ArgoCD / OpenShift Service Mesh / Google Tekton Linux Shell scripting Agile development HTML / CSS / JavaScript / ReactJS Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate Capacity to work across several development streams Be results-oriented and pay attention to detail A background in financial markets, clearing or banking is of advantage Fluency in English is mandatory.

Knowledge of French and / or German is an asset.
