A Project Manager is responsible for developing and managing information technology projects and their cost, time and scope. Over the course of a project, the Project Manager will need to communicate with staff and clients, make decisions and monitor the progress of the project to keep it on schedule. Responsibilities include : project plan, communication plan, allocating tasks and setting milestones. Responsibilities Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews. Align project objectives with company goals, and make sure project team is clear on objectives Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines, allocate resources, monitor progress and manage project scope Delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy Communicate with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals Perform quality control throughout the project to maintain the standards expected Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change Manage risk tracking process Lead process of issue identification and resolution Manage all project documentation Work multiple projects within the company's project portfolio simultaneously Foster partnership with customers, stakeholders and sponsors Resolve problems, complete audits, identify trends, determine system improvements, and implement change. Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions. Qualifications / skills Required solid experience in Agile methodology as Scrum Master Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or related field BA preferred Four+ or more years project management experience in information technology I.T. ITIL or ITSM certifications preferred. PMP or Prince II certifications appreciated.
