The Deputy Manager Flight Operation Technical Development is in charge of the following :

  • Spearheading key projects and providing technical solutions within the Flight Operations area.
  • Coordinating cross-divisional projects including the introduction of the Boeing 777-8F into Cargolux Flight Operations
  • Implementing new digital tools involving the EFB (Electronic Flight Bag), improvements in systems used by the IACC (Integrated Airline Control Center) and the digitalization of Flight Operations in general with a strong focus on Cybersecurity aspects.
  • Administrating and continuously improving various Flight Operations systems such as the EFB and taking a leading role within Flight Operations for all Cybersecurity and EASA Part IS matters.

Essential Requirements For The Position :

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (preferably Avionics) or a related field.
  • In-depth experience with cybersecurity, flight operations systems and aircraft connectivity.
  • Fluency in English; any additional languages are considered a plus.
  • Working Conditions :

  • Permanent full-time position based in our HQ in Luxembourg.
  • Working days Monday-Friday.
  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
