Missions

We are a leading investment fund manager based in Luxembourg, committed to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and integrity. We are currently seeking a dedicated AML-CFT Compliance Officer to join our financial crime compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with 2 to 3 years of AML-CFT experience in the Luxembourg financial sector to advance their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

As an AML-CFT Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring our compliance with Luxembourg laws and regulations related to anti-money laundering (AML) and countering the financing of terrorism (CFT). You will be responsible for performing oversight activities, conducting KYC on high-risk investors, and executing compliance monitoring controls to mitigate financial crime risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform oversight and monitoring activities of transfer agents to ensure compliance with AML-CFT requirements.
  • Conduct thorough KYC and enhanced due diligence (EDD) on high-risk investors, including identification, verification, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Execute compliance monitoring controls and periodic reviews to detect and prevent financial crime risks.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Luxembourg AML-CFT laws, CSSF circulars, and regulatory expectations.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and filings related to AML-CFT.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of AML-CFT policies and procedures.
  • Support the development and delivery of AML-CFT training and awareness programs.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and regulatory inspections as required.

  • Niveau d'études minimum : Bac + 4 / M1
  • Niveau d'expérience minimum : 2 - 3 ans
  • Langues : Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French, German, or Luxembourgish is a plus.

    • Formation / Spécialisation

  • Analytical mind-set, accountable and reliable with strong organizational skills
  • Pro-active and ability to work under pressure and problem solving attitude
  • Good personal relationship skills to interact at all levels efficiently
  • Master Degree in Law, Finance or Economics
  • Good knowledge of key Luxembourg and European regulations related to investor protection, MIFID, market integrity and AML / CFT

    • Expérience

  • 2 to 3 years of AML-CFT compliance experience within the Luxembourg financial sector, preferably in asset management or fund management.

    • Compétences recherchées

  • Strong knowledge of Luxembourg AML-CFT laws, CSSF circulars, and regulatory framework.
  • Experience in performing compliance monitoring controls and risk assessments.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
