Responsibilities :

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive and battery recycling sectors across Europe
  • Experience in cooperating with OEMs, car manufacturers, fleet operators, waste management companies, and government bodies
  • Track record of promoting battery recycling solutions
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network, gather market intelligence, and build relationships
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth targets for new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a smooth transition to the customer support and operations teams
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches tailored to the client’s specific needs
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries and requirements
  • Provide expert guidance to customers on compliance, environmental standards, and the benefits of battery recycling
  • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction through ongoing communication, support, and problem resolution
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline progress, and market conditions to senior management
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to refine sales collateral and promotional strategies based on customer needs and industry developments
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., operations, logistics, legal, and compliance) to ensure smooth execution of projects and adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Stay updated on European regulations related to battery disposal and recycling, ensuring all client solutions are fully compliant with relevant laws and directives
  • Become an expert in the company’s recycling technologies, processes, and sustainability initiatives
  • Advocate for the company's innovative recycling solutions
  • Ability to demonstrate the value proposition to stakeholders in the context of sustainability, cost savings, and resource recovery
  • Preparing calculations and commercial offers for potential clients
  • Managing the sales process from needs analysis to the conclusion of a cooperation agreement
  • Building long-term relationships with clients
  • Achieving the set sales targets and preparing reports for the supervisor
  • Monitoring the local market, identifying opportunities and risks arising from the business environment
  • Participating in the process of handling customer complaints

Requirements :

  • Proven track record of sales experience, ideally in B2B sales within the environmental, recycling, automotive, or renewable energy industries
  • Experience with large-scale account management and business development is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of car battery technologies, EV infrastructure, and the circular economy is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. A technical background is advantageous
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and sales cycles simultaneously
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional European language skills (e.g., French, Korean) are a plus
  • Familiarity with European regulations governing battery disposal, recycling, and waste management (e.g., the EU Battery Directive, REACH, and WEEE)
  • Awareness of key sustainability trends and the global shift toward green energy and electric vehicles
  • Frequent travel within Europe is required, including client visits, conferences, and industry events
