MANPOWER Luxembourg SA is recruiting for one of its customers, a renowned company based in Findel;

Transportation Back-Office (M / F / X)

Temporary contract

Responsibilities

  • Definition of the transportation plan short term by carrier & destination
  • Sharing and monitoring the plan with the carrier and the production plan

    Maintain the transportation booking overview

    Update transportation relevant information in Production and shipping master tracker

    Support Carriers and source / destination on booking slot for loading and offloading

    Pivot in troubleshooting for carries and production plant

    Perform checks on deliveries and shipment consistency and correct or request / perform correction if needed

    Troubleshoot and support on the invoicing of transport

    Order Management

    Receiving order from customer via email

    Inserting the order into SAP system

    Allocating the product to the order considering the remaining shel-life for the stock on hand

    Documents preparation in collaboration with 3PL WH team

    Support customer by providing proper information by collaboration with other SC departments

    Customer Service KPIs management and analytics

    Profile

    The candidate must be able to update excels tracking files and follow up on emails specific on transportation process (planning, booking, invoicing and trouble shooting) Proactivity on search for support if something is unclear and capable to learn fast how to handle repetitive tasks

    The ideal candidate should possess the ability to manage customer orders received via email and subsequently process them in SAP. The candidate will be responsible for managing the remaining shelf-life of the product and allocating it to the order in SAP. The role involves assigning orders to the warehouse. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively liaise with both internal team members and customers. A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach are essential. This includes asking insightful questions and proposing innovative ideas to enhance efficiency

  • 1-2 years experience in transportation back office activities
  • Fluent in English spoken and written
  • Excel proficiency
  • Microsoft Office suite good knowledge
  • SAP Knowledge is a plus
