Description
Cargolux Revenue Management (RM) is part of the commercial planning division consisting of Network Management & Planning, Revenue Management, Strategic Alliances & Market Development. Revenue Management is composed by Route Management, Pricing and Support & digital development headed by the Vice-President Revenue Management (VP RM). The position holder will report to the VP RM.
The Revenue Management Team is committed to capacity and revenue optimization leading to profitable growth, is open to change and strongly believes in a relationship of mutual trust and professionalism.
Task responsibilities :
- Maintain overview of the worldwide Revenue Management & Pricing Processes and safeguard departmental streamlined way of working by organizing alignment meetings as required.
- Address and discuss deviations in process and assist in finding agreeable solutions involving all stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Business Intelligence, Controlling, etc).
- Act as the RM liaison between the Route Management / Pricing Teams, Support & Digital Development team as well as the CV IT team for Cargo Management System (CMS) functional related matters (day-to-day operations) as well as digital tools (Revenue Management system for instance).
- Assist in creating, updating and maintaining CMS (iCargo) related functionalities.
- Active participation in the Cargo Management System functionalities related to Sales, Revenue Management & Pricing to discuss, communicate and organize field participation and training.
- Assist in creating content for worldwide costumer contractual pricing renewals and overall seasonal pricing strategy in conjunction with the VP RM.
- Organize and plan the content for cross departmental strategy and alignment discussion (CV IT, EPMO, Sales & Marketing).
- Provide structural KPI's to the VP RM.
- Prepare structural and ad hoc meeting content as required.
- Participate in the development of new processes and tools to support new and / or changing business models.
- Roll out processes as needed to meet (re)new business models as required and follow progress.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION
Masters Degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Aviation Management, Business Administration, or related quantitative discipline.At least 5 years' experience in aviation project management or any other relevant field.Understanding of the Air cargo industry is a must.Experienced in managing complex data analytics and drive insights and recommendations on business trends and areas of opportunities.Good quantitative and analytical skills.Proven experience in driving change across a multicultural organization.Organized and disciplined - able to manage delivery of multiple objectives.Self-starter : able to work on own initiative.Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.Be trustworthy, honest, business-minded ; support and promote company values.Work collaboratively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.Experience or general knowledge of Revenue Management Systems.Advanced Microsoft Office Skills.Experience in Data visualization Tools (e.g. Microsoft PowerBI).Excellent communication skills and a good command of written and spoken English, any other language is considered as an advantage.
