YOUR MISSION :
We are seeking a candidate to join the development team responsible for creating a 3D bioprinter designed for microgravity environments, to be deployed on the ISS and future space stations. The ideal candidate must have a strong systemic understanding of the project so he can contribute with the mechanical design and analyses of a 3D bioprinter and other projects. In addition to doing the design and analyses, they must participate in team meetings and handle technical documentation. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and collaboration skills.

YOUR TASKS :
- Participate in the design team of a microgravity 3 D bioprinter system including experiments dishes, fluidic systems, and thermal control systems .
- Define / perf orm analyses for thermal and structural loads of the spaceflight experiments through all mission phases (transport, launch , on orbit, return) .
- C reate manufacturing documentation (drawings, parts lists) and support manufacturers .
- Write and execute test procedures , reports and project documentation .
- Contribute to systems definition and design decisions .
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best performance for the overall system .
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED :
E xperience with CAD design , ideally 3DExperience and SolidWorks .E xperience with MS Office .K nowledge about material selection and sealing concepts is a plus.B e a team player with communication skills, supportive, well organized and have an independent way of working .I deally , to have experience with ANSYS Mechanical and / or Ansys F l o w .Ideally, to have f amiliarity with space standards, especially ECSS and SSP .S trong team player.Self-motivated and proactive.Comfortable taking on responsibility.Adaptable t o high levels of uncertainty.Practical mindset with a focus on execution.Low ego and empathetic toward colleagues.Fluent in both spoken and written English.P roficiency in German is a plus.WHY YURI :
