To continue our growth and innovation, we are seeking experienced professionals to manage tender packages for offshore foundations and vessel procurement.

These roles, based in Luxembourg, are vital to our ongoing expansion and dedication to excellence in the maritime industry.

As a TPM Foundations :

You will be developing and implementing innovative and complex procurements strategies and programs to facilitate the most effective and efficient sourcing of offshore foundations.

You will be responsible for complex budgeting and tendering processes for EPCI projects for the procurement and fabrication of offshore windfarm foundations.

You will lead and supervise a team of Procurement Engineers during all relevant procurement phases and covering all interactions with the supply chain from the preparation of ITTs to the award of subcontracts in line with the EPCI tender and contract requirements.

You will be leading negotiations with tenderers and the supply chain on executive level.

You will be assessing tenders in respect of commercial, contractual, technical and project planning compliance, including assessing associated risks and opportunities.

You will be preparing tender evaluation reports and selecting successful tenders.

You will be supporting the development of EPCI Tender Strategies and Programs under consideration of all relevant procurement aspects.

As a TPM Vessels & Newbuilds :

You will support the Category Manager to develop a market strategy based on your up-to-date market knowledge of the shipbuilding industry.

You will conduct market research to further develop and deepen existing shipbuilding market knowledge.

You will develop and manage a reliable supply chain network in the shipbuilding industry to enhance DEME fleet capabilities.

You will manage relationships and communication with various internal stakeholders (business units, projects, legal, finance, etc.).

You will manage and guide high value shipbuilding procurement projects and strive for TCO reductions.

You will take the lead in the negotiations with shipyards and equipment suppliers, drafting and closing contracts, where necessary with the support of category buyers and the Fleet Department.

You will manage category buyer(s) during the execution of procurement tasks, including equipment expediting, inspection and logistics services, if required for owner furnished equipment.

You will monitor and manage the interface of vessel procurement activities with the related equipment procurement processes.

You will maintain and monitor the existing agreements with suppliers / contractors / shipyards.

As a TPM Foundations :

You hold a master’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering or management and have at least 8 years of proven experience in relevant positions in an EPCI project driven environment.

You are a skilled negotiator and excellent communicator on all hierarchy levels and have the ability to convince and influence business partners and suppliers.

You combine a strong technical background with an equally strong commercial and contractual expertise and have gained relevant experience in EPCI related procurement or EPCI project management roles.

Your Industry of provenience ideally should be offshore renewables. Offshore Oil & Gas, shipbuilding or other relevant EPCI driven industries will also be positively considered.

You are self-driven, have a convincing personality and are a natural leader of a team of professionals in a complex and international business environment.

You are curious, analytical, meticulous, customer oriented and result driven.

You are a strategic and conceptual thinker and used to develop and present strategies and solutions to the management.

You are fluent in English, speaking and writing. Fluency in French or Chinese is considered a strong asset.

You are willing to work from Luxembourg and to travel regularly abroad on business trips and limited mission worldwide, when required.

As a TPM Vessels & Newbuilds :

Master or Bachelor degree in Engineering, Economics, or equal by experience.

Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience in a procurement role or management of projects & operations in shipbuilding and / or major conversion projects.

Interest and affinity for technical subjects (technical drawings and characteristics) and willingness to develop in this field.

Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving mentality

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Project Management skills and relevant experience in drafting and negotiating contracts and commercial terms and conditions.

You are willing to travel for business overseas regularly.

Fluent in English.
