Responsibilities :
- Deliver exceptional customer service : Act as the main point of contact for guests, resolving issues promptly and ensuring satisfaction.
- Manage reservations and seating : Coordinate table assignments, manage waitlists, and optimize dining room flow for smooth service.
- Supervise staff : Oversee and guide waitstaff in your section to ensure high performance and consistency.
- Ensure dining room readiness : Inspect tables, chairs, and linens for cleanliness and setup accuracy. Monitor and restock business supplies as needed.
- Monitor service quality : Train and mentor junior staff, ensuring adherence to service protocols and standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff : Communicate guest preferences and special requests to the kitchen effectively.
- Handle customer accounts : Accurately manage billing, payments, and record keeping.
- Maintain inventory : Ensure availability of table settings, cleaning supplies, and other service essentials.
- Enforce hygiene and safety standards : Oversee sanitation of dining and kitchen areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist during service : When necessary, step in to take orders, serve food, or support the team to maintain smooth operations.
- Foster a positive team environment : Promote a collaborative and respectful workplace culture.
Requirements And Skills :
