Description

Part of the Digital Sales and Marketing Team, the Manager Digital Sales will be responsible for the development and monitoring of the digital sales channels (API, customer portal and platforms) and the digitalization of core internal sales processes. He / she will work in close collaboration with the IT and the Innovation team to ensure a smooth customer experience.

  • Use data analytics to improve the Customer Experience (CX) and monitor the economic development of digital sales channels (portal, API, platforms)
  • Suggest and coordinate overall data quality improvement throughout Sales & Marketing division
  • Shape the CX on the Cargolux website and APIs by defining and improving digital features and simplifications for our customers
  • Suggest and coordinate process improvements related to productivity gains and automation
  • Drive continuous improvement cycles on sales support systems
  • Work with the IT department to translate any user system requirements into deployment plans
  • Devise and implement measures to train users effectively
  • Support the development of the long-term infrastructure and functionality for the Sales & Marketing division
  • Attend IT committees on behalf of Sales & Marketing
  • Manage a small team.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

  • University degree in Product Management / Business management / Logistics or another relevant field
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role within an airline or the logistics sector
  • Experience in core cargo airline systems for sales is a distinct advantage (including CMS, CRM and digital sales channels)
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Customer oriented (CX / UX / UI)
  • Ability to work on own initiative, prioritize tasks, make decisions and implement them
  • Trustworthy, honest and support and promote company values
  • Effective communicator (both written and verbal) with internal and external stakeholders and with a good command of the English language. Other languages are an advantage.
