Our Delta Operational team is looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to help and support one of our clients a major player within the fund industry.
The Senior Fund Accountant will have the following responsibilities :
- Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and related reporting for a fund or group of funds
- Calculate net asset values, prepare financial reports and presentations for management and investors
- Review and analyze investment transactions to ensure proper accounting treatment
- Maintain and reconcile investment portfolio positions
- Participate in the month-end close process, including the preparation of financial statements and related schedules
- Assist with the preparation of regulatory and investor reporting, including financial statements and footnotes
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and report as required
- Assist with the review and improve of internal controls and processes
The Senior Fund Accountant will also have the responsibility to animate the Delta Accounting tribe, participate to the development of the existing team, animating workshops and training internally and with third parties. As an operational consultant, the Senior Fund Accountant will act as Subject Matter Expert to support other colleagues in case of expertise needs.
Requirements
Excellent knowledge of Fund accounting with at least 5 years of experiencesFund accounting and Asset management activities knowledge ledge (Reconciliation, NAV Calculation, Financial reporting)Have a good knowledge of Financial RiskKnowledge of main Fund accounting tool is a concrete asset (IFRS, Lux GAP, US GAP…)Good knowledge of investment funds and main financial productsGood command of the MS Office tools (specially excel and VBA)Master II qualification in accounting, finance or equivalentEnglish and French speaking are mandatory, additional language is considered as an advantageBenefits
