Fund Control Officer (M / F)

The Fund Control Officer will develop, implement, document and review the fund control framework and policies adapted to various fund vehicles (AIF, UCITS, Part II, SIFs, SICARs), invested in a wide diversity of financial asset classes (equity, fixed income, loans, structured products, derivatives, private equity, real estate, private debt).

Your next challenge :

• Act in cooperation with all business lines and actively contribute to the BMI mission
• Oversee the activities performed by the delegates and services providers, mainly central administration, custodian banks and distributors through KPIs monitoring
• Cash Management
• Controls and reporting related to transactional activities (EMIR)
• On-going challenging, reporting and escalation on security valuation within financial asset portfolios, including :
• Review of stale prices and pricing of difficult-to-price securities
• Plausibility checks on NAV variation
• Corporate action follow-up
• Preparation of the valuation committee meetings for financial assets' funds
• Performing data quality review and recording of GAV and NAV
• Cost and fee controls, including :
• Controls on accruals expenses and fees
• Controls on Performance fees
• Monthly financial information of the UCI (U1.1)
• Issuance of the annual audited report
• FATCA / CRS reporting
• NAV timeliness and NAV errors
• Monitor share register for blocked accounts, PEP and high-risk investors
• Other KPIs reporting from Distributors, Depositaries, Central Administrators and Transfer Agents
• Follow-up of audit related matters, including SAQ reporting
• Operational Risk and management of operational incidents related to the fund lifecycle and service providers
• Review and follow-up of regulatory reporting (AIFMD Reporting - Annex IV Reporting)
