Position Overview
The legal counsel will be part of Apollo’s European legal team and will be involved in a wide range of legal,corporateandregulatoryactivities.Locally,thepersonwillbepartofateamof 5lawyersandwilldirectlyreport totheSeniorCounselbasedinLuxembourg.Thepersonwillberesponsibleforallthelegal,corporateand regulatoryaspectsofAIFsallocatedtoitsportfolioandwilldirectlycollaboratewithexternaladvisersandservice providers. The person will be involved in the governance of the internal AIFM, contributing to decision- makingprocessesandregulatoryoversight. The candidate should also have a strong interest in addressing legal and regulatory matters across various European jurisdictions as needed, thereby supporting Apollo's broader European operations and strategic development.This position requires (i) a certain degree of seniority, (ii) a strong ability to monitorandsupervise severaltaskssimultaneously,(iii)collaborate closelywith differentdepartments / functionsand(iii)ageneralviewofthedifferentlawsandlocal / Europeanregulations(commercialandcivillaw, AIFMD, MiFID, EU Securitization law, Part II UCI, ELTIF…).

Monitorspecificreportingundertakings
Coordinateandmonitorlawfirmsandserviceproviders
DirectlyparticipatetotheactivityandreportingobligationsofourAIFMfromalegalandregulatory perspective (regulatory watch, review policies and procedures, monitoring of investment
limits / restrictions…)

Qualifications & Experience
Topacademiccredentialsinlaw(BA / BS / LLB)fromatopuniversitywith 4-5years+ PQEinthe corporate / funds team of a top-tier law firm with focus on financial services
TransactionalM&Aexperience(includingprojectmanagementskills)areaplus
Matureandexceptionalcommunication / interpersonalskills(bothwrittenandverbal)
Builds and maintains strong relationships / credibility with relevant internal stakeholders, regulatory representatives, and outside vendors, including outside counsel and consultants
Capable of executing strategy with the appropriate sense of urgency while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
