The Risk & Outsourcing Manager will join the Control & Oversight - LUX team.

Acting as the on-site contact person covering the activities delegated to the Group's entities. The incumbent will be the main contact person for the supervisory authorities and a relay for the Operations Management. Your role will be to support local teams, understand the delegated activities, document them, be able to explain them and carry out periodic checks to ensure compliance with the guidelines in place, to validate the quality of how they are processed, as well as risk assessment and monitoring.

Your role

Supervision (1st line of defense) of delegated activities :

Acting as the single point of contact within the custodian bank for delegated operational activities.

Interacting with people in charge of supervision and subcontracting.

The coverage of the post holder's activities will evolve in line with new regulations.

Operations management office activities :

Providing the necessary assistance to the local teams (e.g. COO, Risk Management, Unit Managers) in terms of reporting.

Being a relay to align the practices across the teams in terms of risk management (incl. Kaizen ops, follow-up of remediation, audit recommendations, action plan).

Project management :

Participate to regulatory projects, risk management projects, including liaising with the different lines of defences (L1 / L2) when needed.

Documentation of procedures and operational risk monitoring :

Providing the necessary assistance to unit managers to ensure that their procedures are up to date and complete. Ensuring consistency of level and depth.

Building and maintaining a central repository of documentation. Ensuring that the documentation is regularly updated.

Your profile

Education :

  • Bachelor degree in Law, Finance and / or business administration

Requested experience :

Professional banking experience (minimum five years).

Expert knowledge of operational banking activities.

Good knowledge of outsourcing regulations (CH, LUX, DE).

Technical and personal skills :

Excellent listening and communication skills, both oral and written.

Able to manage priorities and to work under pressure.

A keen interest in regulatory activities, risk management and carrying out controls.

Methodical, organised and precise.

Self-reliant and proactive.

Able to work with a consensus-based approach and show pragmatism.

Language skills :

  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written French and English.
