Your role - Are you ready for a challenge? The Actuarial Analyst is responsible for providing support to the actuarial team for regulatory reporting (in particular, Solvency II and IFRS17), as well as internal reporting and monitoring of a range of business metrics. They will assist the actuarial team in maintaining and developing actuarial models and processes as well as performing Ad hoc actuarial tasks. Your responsibilities will be as follows : Provide value-adding actuarial support to a growing international business, Support the quarterly production, analysis and reporting of a range of metrics (e.g. Solvency II, IFRS 17, Embedded Value and the Value of New Business) for the Luxembourg company and wider Group, Assist in the preparation of the actuarial reports (e.g. Actuarial Function report, Solvency and Financial Condition report), Assist with reinsurance reporting, Support the production of business plans, Maintain and enhance the documentation of the actuarial processes, Contribute to investigating and reporting on the validity of data with a proactive approach to improving the quality and integrity of data used in the work of the department, Support the actuarial basis review process, Assist in maintaining and developing actuarial models using Excel and actuarial software packages such as Prophet or IRIS, Examine existing methodologies and develop new ways to improve the efficiency of the team. Your profile - Have you got what it takes to become our Senior Actuary? An actuarial qualification or progress towards gaining an actuarial qualification, 3+ years recent experience in a European Life company actuarial team with exposure to Solvency II capital and reserving, Strong interest in the analysis, the modelling and the resolution of financial problems, Strong software and programming skills, Excellent organisational skills with an ability to meet challenging deadlines, Pursue expansion of current knowledge and skills, Show flexibility and be able to effectively manage priorities, Ability to work within a team and collaborate with other teams efficiently, Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) with an ability to communicate complex concepts in a manner tailored to the audience, Fluency in English for a business environment (oral and written), knowledge of French is considered an asset, Experience with actuarial modelling software is considered an asset.
